Cubone, the Lonely Pokemorph

Before he became Marowak, Cubone is one of the chosen Pokemorphs
alongside his pre-evolved companions and allies, Machop, Abra, Pikachu,
Meowth, Vulpix, Growlithe, Sandshrew, Psyduck, Nidorino, Nidorina,
Charmeleon, Ivysaur, Wartortle, the Eevee sisters, Rattata, Elekid, Magby,
and others.

After witnessing such a fatality on his mother, which seems to be a female
Marowak warrior who had met with an unexpected demise when Weavile
unleashed a lethal sneak attack from behind, which proved to be fatal and
then the Sharp Claw Pokemorph finished her off with an Ice Beam that froze
her from the inside, and shattering her frozen body into shards of Ice with
a fully-powered Ice Punch, Cubone was traumatized by such a horrible event
that left him mentally scarred for life.

As he wandered in the rain, Cubone suddenly realized that the rain is so wet
that he couldn't handle the moisture as he is unable to find shelter. It would
seem that Cubone could not keep up as the rain continues to fall on him, but
luckily Psyduck came along and found him stranded in the rain. Psyduck came
to help up Cubone and offered him something to keep him out of the rain.

Cubone soon met Pikachu, Vulpix, Growlithe, Sandshrew, Meowth, Eevee,
Squirtle, Charmander, Bulbasaur, and others as they comfort him with
care and warming up to a campfire that Vulpix and Growlithe made.
As the Pokemorphs came out of their shelter after the rain had ceased,
they soon set out on their journey and eventually evolved over time.
He soon found the spirit of his mother Marowak at the tower of Lavender Town,
and he eventually evolved into Marowak after his mother's spirit adds her will,
experience and skill to his son as the spirit rests in peace.
